Charlie Gard died, I read.

Doctors decided his death, basically killed him, at least cut off the life support they had provided - and stopped parents from getting another one, from someone else.

Another baby died in Belgium. Parents were sued for involuntary homicide - for not doing what the doctors would have done. I think the father is in prison, now.

Is the European law for those killing deliberately and against those killing involuntarily?

No, it is more simply for doctors and against parents. In other cases, for doctors and against patients.

Are doctors forming a new tyranny? I am afraid so.

Roosevelt and Nimrod

Mark Shea connected to an article on Trump's speech before Boy Scouts.

The article quoted another speech by Roosevelt:

“When you go out into life, you have come to understand that the individual in your community who always says ‘I can’t’ or ‘I won’t’ or ‘I don’t,’ the individual who by inaction or by opposition slows up honest, practical, far-seeing community effort, is the fellow who is holding back civilization and holding back the objectives of the Constitution of the United States,” Roosevelt said.

Those who have followed what I have been saying about Tower of Babel, rocketry, Göbekli Tepe on the blogs Philologica and Creation vs Evolution, those of you who have will know that I think this is about what I think Nimrod was saying about the family and little tribe of Heber and his son Peleg.

Nimrod thought the "tower" - I think the Biblical words could describe a three step rocket meant to bring us to "the stars" and above - was civilisation and the objectives of the mankind state in Shinar (with outliers rather than colonies elsewhere).

Nimrod thought that those refusing to participate, perhaps on excuses like "it's against God who created us and saved us from the Flood", perhaps on other excuses when that didn't help, were indeed:

"the individual in your community who always says ‘I can’t’ or ‘I won’t’ or ‘I don’t,’ the individual who by inaction or by opposition slows up honest, practical, far-seeing community effort"

And that is why Nimrod made himself a "mighty hunter before the Lord", i e a slave hunter.

Wonder why Mark Shea was so much more irate about the speech of Trump than about that former speech by Roosevelt?

Norway and Poland

There was a Norwegian journalist who complained about a law change in Poland:

VGNyheter : Omstridt lov godkjent i Polens overhus
http://www.vg.no/nyheter/utenriks/omstridt-lov-godkjent-i-polens-overhus/a/24102328/#xtor=CS6-6-[24102328%20omstridt_lov_godkjent_i_polens_overhus]

There was another Norwegian, not a journalist, at least by profession as traditionally seen these days, who reacted to this, with these words:

IS JUST DISGUSTING,THAT NORWAY CRITIC POLAND,SICK AND DISGUSTING,NORWAY DONT RESPECT ANYTHING,DONT HAVE FAIR JUSTICE,CORUPTION IS OVERFLOW,THIS YEAR THEY WILL GO 9 TIMES TO EUROPEAN HUMAN RIGHTS COURT BECAUSE THEY DONT RESPECT THE LAW,THEY DONT USE JUSTICE IN NORWAY,THEY ABUSE THE JUSTICE AND KIDNAP CHILDREN ,3 CONTINENTS PROTEST AGAINST NORWAY LAST YEAR BECAUSE THEY DONT USE FAIR JUSTICE,SO THEY SHOULD BE ASHAME TO CRITIK OTHER COUNTRY REGARDING JUSTICE

So much for Nordic countries being set forth as an example./HGL

Nanterre U

Answering Ken Cole

Here is what there is to be answered:

Ken Cole’s Disproof of Geocentrism
http://www.biblicalcatholic.com/apologetics/GeocentrismDisproved.htm

Scientific Disproof of Geocentrism: How Newton’s laws prove that the earth orbits the sun by Ken Cole

  • Section A

    • Premise (A1): Newton developed his physical laws, which form the basis of orbital mechanics. These equations include his second law of motion: F=m*a and his law of gravitation: (Gravitational Force)=G*m1*m2/(radius)^2.

    • Premise (A2): Since Newton formulated his laws, they have always been verified by the motion of objects travelling much slower than the measured speed of light. There has never been an observable case where Newton’s laws did not hold for objects travelling much slower than the measured speed of light.

    • Premise (A3): In order for Newton’s laws to correctly predict motion in the solar system, gravitational forces from all massive bodies must be correctly taken into account by scientists. Gravitational force according to Newton is directly related to mass. Gravitational force is also directly related to and varies according to a spacecraft’s distance from each of these bodies as seen in G * m1 * m2 / (radius)^2 from (A1). (These massive bodies include the sun, Earth, moon, planets, etc.) The sum of these gravitational forces equals the “F” in F=m*a.

    • Premise (A4): Scientists send spacecraft (which travel much slower than the measured speed of light), and have done so multiple times, through the solar system using Newton’s laws with exact precision. Such spacecraft include Voyager 2, Pioneer 10, and the Apollo moon missions. In other words, the spacecrafts’ motion, as described by the “m*a” in F=m*a, was correct or true.

    • Premise (A5): Given (A1), (A2) and since the motion of the spacecrafts were true (A4), then the scientists’ calculation of the solar system’s bodies’ gravitational forces (A3) must also be true.

    • Conclusion (A): Scientists possess a correct and accurate understanding of each body’s gravitational force in relation to the spacecraft and, consequently, a correct understanding of each body’s mass.

  • Section B

    • Premise (B1): Geocentrism places Earth in the center of the solar system, and all other bodies (including the sun) rotate around Earth.

    • Premise (B2): According to Newton’s laws, less massive objects orbit more massive objects.

    • Premise (B3): If (B1) is true, then (B2) predicts that the Sun is less massive than the Earth.

    • Premise (B4): But Conclusion (A) is proven true, and scientists understand that the Sun is more massive than the Earth.

    • Premise (B5): Given (B4), then either geocentrism (B1) is false or Newton’s laws (B2) are false.

    • Conclusion (B): Either the geocentric view is incorrect or Newton’s laws are incorrect.

  • Section C

    • Premise (C1): But (A2) is true.

    • Premise (C2): Bob Sungenis’ definition of proof is that “...explanations must be direct, observable, physical, natural, repeatable, unambiguous and comprehensive.”

    • Premise (C3): (C2) defines (A2) as proof that Newton’s laws are correct.

    • Premise (C4): Given (C3) and Conclusion (B), then (B1) is false.

    • Conclusion (C): Geocentrism is false, and Newton’s laws are true. Newton’s laws then correctly predict that Earth orbits the Sun.

  • Summary Notes:

Basically, the idea behind Section A of this proof is that we know Newton’s Laws are right since we’ve successfully sent spacecraft through the solar system — we know how gravity works. We know that very massive objects have a greater gravitational pull than less massive objects. Particularly of note: Newton’s Laws squarely contradict Geocentrism. In order for the moon to orbit the earth, for example, the earth has to be much more massive than the moon. That’s the only way the earth can create a big enough gravitational pull to “hang on” to the moon.

That is why the earth can’t be the center of the universe according to Newton’s Laws: the earth would have to be more massive than every other object in the universe, so it could have a big enough gravitational pull on to “hang on” to everything. Robert Sungenis wants to believe that Geocentrism and Newton’s Laws pleasantly coexist, but Section B of this proof clearly shows that either Newton is right or Geocentrism is right.

Section C of this proof shows that by Robert Sungenis’ own standard of “proof,” Newton’s Laws are true and Geocentrism must be false.

Not going into the debate with Sungenis here.

My answer is on another plane. ALL of Newton's laws predict results of such and such type ONLY if one presumes the factors taken into account are the only relevant ones.

Take a globe the size of Earth. For example, Earth. Take another globe like a socker ball, or beanshaped object like a rugby ball (I often say my blog is of all subjects except socker, and this is really not about socker, I am using it for an illustration, or about rugby either). Let's say it is a rugby ball or a socker ball.

Include corresponding masses. Include one globe or beanshaped object lying on another globe, namely sport asset on Earth.

Newton's laws predict it will be staying there - unless there are other factors, like players.

And neither Cole nor Robert Sungenis in replying has taken into account that angelic beings, presumably good unfallen angels, could be moving all celestial bodies - they would be acting out a role analogous to the socker or rugby players.

One Good Thing with Fundie Muslims

They are the ones to take the Quran sufficiently seriously to be able to get (back) to Christianity for reading one verse of the Quran:

I Left & Rejected Islam & Muhammad Because of One Verse in the Quran - Testimony
The Endless Love of Jesus Ministries
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at8i1tB60Yk

I am after only 55 seconds very sure the man, during his 16 years as a Muslim, was a very Fundie one.

I am also rather certain, if he had been a liberal Muslim, he would still be a liberal Muslim. That one Ayah of one Surah would not have been all that important to him.

If I had been a liberal Protestant, I would not have become a Catholic. I would not have been trying to get absolution for exactly one mortal sin committed the year before I decided to seek out a priest for conversion. I might not even have categorised it as mortal sin, I might have been caught up in something more psychoanalytical or sth./HGL

Triviū, Quadriviū, 7 cætera : When a Thought Ceases to be Believable to You, You should Cease to Think It.
http://triv7quadriv.blogspot.com/2012/03/when-thought-ceases-to-be-believable-to.html

I also believe that a baby was saved by the action of a few angels: one café owner could not roll in his canvas one friday or saturday evening, same weekend a baby falls from very high onto that canvas, bounces, and is saved by a rugby player passing by.

Not sure anymore if the player was a rugby player or other sportsman (ok, nearly sure it was precisely a rugby player), but it was in Paris and it was in the papers. In order to believe in angels you need not see one, you need only count the number of angels involved in the saving of that baby: one preventing the café owner from succeeding, another prompting him not to stay too long trying, a third prompting the stroll of the rugby player, and the guardian angel of the baby prompting the fall to happen the right moment for baby to be saved and for parents to get, for free except a little scare, a lesson about how to screen off the balcony properly.

And we can begin to count the holies connected to Paris: rue de Bac, St Vincent of Paul (body preserved from decomposition), St Genevieve (body preserved till French revolution, ashes thrown into La Seine), St Clotildis, and a few more.

A week or two earlier or later, a baby was killed in Versailles. A demon showed itself, six persons or so fled through the window instead of using holy water or rosaries. And one baby there was killed falling out of that window. The demon did not kill it directly, but by showing itself and inspiring fright - and fright of a kind that sound Catholics in a state of grace, using the Rosary and Holy Water would never have been too apt to fall into.

There too you can start counting the demons: who kept that father off going to Mass, who kept those youngster ignorant of the existence of demons and of how to confront them, but you will be able to find some of the demons in the politics of this poor country, leading to a corps of teachers that do not transmit faith because they do not have it, because one who has it does not become part of that corps but takes a job at a Catholic school or not at all in teaching.

But when I say you can count the angels or demons apparently involved, I do not mean I saw any of them, nor anyone else did except they who saw the demon who frightened the poor family out of the window. I do not mean atheists will admit angels or demons were involved either. But I do mean that the position of atheists becomes pretty weak in face of cases like these.

So, if by Talmudic positions of Kent Hovind some guy at St Nicolas du Chardonnet was referring to his being Young Earth Creationist, that guy should quit reading Dominic Venner and start reading Catechism of Pope St Pius X (which is explicitly Young Earth Creationist and which at least is compatible with Geocentrism).

Creation vs. Evolution : I have been Asked if Kent Hovind didn't have Talmudic Positions?
http://creavsevolu.blogspot.com/2017/07/i-have-been-asked-if-kent-hovind-didnt.html

HGL's F.B. writings : 1 Carbon Dated Egyptology? Coffin Club didn't want to tell How Much! 2 Coffin Club as Mute as a Grave on my Question 3 Third time over?

You can't rely on this in Paris

The Hoods : Baking with Sunshine
http://jaredandmeganhood.blogspot.com/2017/04/baking-with-sunshine.html

Unlike Tanzania, Paris had soaking rain this morning. Believe me! I was there (I am in Nanterre now, about 30 km West of Paris).

Unlike Tanzania, in Paris you can't rely on sunshine for baking or cooking food.

Some people think globalist. It would be exaggerated to say the present globalist régime reason in these exact terms:

"solar ovens don't work in Paris. Therefore we can't let people rely on them anywhere, not even in Tanzania."

But there are minds who want solutions for everywhere and always only, to which local solutions and temporary solutions basically stink, and if they are not attacking solar ovens in Tanzania, they are doing similarily absurd decisions where they do have power.

  • on ne peut pas directement vérifier si les corps célestes ont des âmes, ni y a-t-il des preuves scripturaires très décisifs pour ceci-même, par contre, on peut très bien penser que les corps célestes sont mu par des êtres angéliques, par des anges;

  • l'acceptation de l'héliocentrisme a entrainé les sciences dans une réaction en chaîne qui conduit entre autres à un Univers trop vieux pour la chronologie biblique, moyennant les distances stellaires prouvées par la parallaxe en cas d'héliocentrisme vérifié, ou plutôt donc considérées prouvées par le phénomène connu comme parallaxe par ceux qui prennent l'héliocentrisme pour vérifié;

Boubakeur and taqqiya? Perhaps not ...?

GalliaWatch on Simone Veil's death:

In a spectacular example of Islamic taqqiya, the mufti of the Paris Mosque, Dalil Boubakeur, said:

- France has lost a figure such as History offers few. She will remain for all the face of a Republic on its feet, humane, generous. (He praised) the fight this great lady led for the liberation of women, and her desire to promote women of the Muslim faith.”

Perhaps one of the problems with Muslims in France is that, while they might despise women who abort, and are known to have done so, they might not all be against abortion as such. And not just by gratitude for Socialism, also by ... moral relativism in Islam. Pragmatism.

Here is the article I quoted from:

GalliaWatch : Simone Veil (1927 - 2017)
http://galliawatch.blogspot.com/2017/07/simone-veil-1927-2017.html

I can believe Boubakeur misses Simone, his son is (or his father is?*) leader of the French professional corps of Doctors. They are not pro-life./HGL

PS, next day : wonder if the 17 views spread out over "all" my blogs (or fewer ones) from Islamic countries have anything with sn seeing this post.

Also, it is perhaps significant that 5 hours ago I had a reply on a very old thread, by a ... man from a Muslim country or culture:

In total just 432 views - what tends to happen when Russia has had its watch, goes away after being discovered, and leaves./HGL

PS, again!

I just wondered whether this interest on my blogs could have anything to do with the dialogue on FB which started July 1:

HGL's F.B. writings : Carbon Dated Egyptology? Coffin Club didn't want to tell How Much!
http://hglsfbwritings.blogspot.com/2017/07/carbon-dated-egyptology-coffin-club.html

Especially since one part of the dialogue, the answer of Youri Volokhine and my replies to it, has disappeared./HGL

Update, he had simply blocked my profile. Therefore I could recover the exchange from my other one. Now, Russia seems to want to remain hidden : 14 Jul 2017 13:00 – 21 Jul 2017 12:00, 336 page views on lots fewer blogs. If there had been no coordination, how come all of the blogs had great readership in Russia at the same time and most of them lack it today, this week, as they seem to have done since above comment?/HGL

Russia, 22 Jun 2017 – 21 Jul 2017 : 7236 views =

12 + 16 + 193 + 21 + 2 + 279 + 1036 + 378 + 68 + 105 + 210 + 12 + 76 + 266 + 20 + 603 + 63 + 44 + 21 + 21 + 22 + 20 + 44 + 104 + 91 + 208 + 970 + 410 + 369 + 50 + 231 + 283 + 9 + 302 + 20 + 4 + 653.

7236 is much more than 4 to 5 times 336, right? More than 21 times as much. But a month is not 21 weeks, just 4 to 5, closer to 4 weeks. Coordination, especially when you look at multiples of 21 involved : 21, 42, 63, 84, 105, 126, 147, 168, 189, 210, 231, 252, 273, 294, 315, 336 (oh, yea, all of previous week!), 357, 378, 399, 420, 441, 462, 483, 504, 525, 546, 567, 588, 609, 630, 651 ... 1036 is 49*21+7. The total, 7236 is 344*21+12./HGL

Chesterton Spot On!

[Continuing 4th of July celebration from previous:]

Well, by itself, that is hardly news. Chesterton lifted a pen, and he was usually spot on. He is lifting no more pens since his death in 1936, so most occasions or perhaps even all on which he was spot on are already discovered.

The newsworthy thing is a particular new circumstance proving Chesterton was spot on back then. Or if not new, at least newly discovered. Here is the old writing:

As an instance to sharpen the argument, I take the one case of our everlasting education bills. We have actually contrived to invent a new kind of hypocrite. The old hypocrite, Tartuffe or Pecksniff, was a man whose aims were really worldly and practical, while he pretended that they were religious. The new hypocrite is one whose aims are really religious, while he pretends that they are worldly and practical. The Rev. Brown, the Wesleyan minister, sturdily declares that he cares nothing for creeds, but only for education; meanwhile, in truth, the wildest Wesleyanism is tearing his soul. The Rev. Smith, of the Church of England, explains gracefully, with the Oxford manner, that the only question for him is the prosperity and efficiency of the schools; while in truth all the evil passions of a curate are roaring within him. It is a fight of creeds masquerading as policies. I think these reverend gentlemen do themselves wrong; I think they are more pious than they will admit. Theology is not (as some suppose) expunged as an error. It is merely concealed, like a sin. Dr. Clifford really wants a theological atmosphere as much as Lord Halifax; only it is a different one. If Dr. Clifford would ask plainly for Puritanism and Lord Halifax ask plainly for Catholicism, something might be done for them. We are all, one hopes, imaginative enough to recognize the dignity and distinctness of another religion, like Islam or the cult of Apollo. I am quite ready to respect another man’s faith; but it is too much to ask that I should respect his doubt, his worldly hesitations and fictions, his political bargain and make-believe. Most Nonconformists with an instinct for English history could see something poetic and national about the Archbishop of Canterbury as an Archbishop of Canterbury. It is when he does the rational British statesman that they very justifiably get annoyed. Most Anglicans with an eye for pluck and simplicity could admire Dr. Clifford as a Baptist minister. It is when he says that he is simply a citizen that nobody can possibly believe him. But indeed the case is yet more curious than this. The one argument that used to be urged for our creedless vagueness was that at least it saved us from fanaticism. But it does not even do that. On the contrary, it creates and renews fanaticism with a force quite peculiar to itself. This is at once so strange and so true that I will ask the reader’s attention to it with a little more precision.

The new circumstance proving him right is this : in Turkey it seems teaching evolution has recently been forbidden.

In most of Europe it is forbidden to teach (sometimes even in private schools, paid by the parents!) that there is a scientifical alternative to evolution, a bunch of scientific observations and arguments made in support of Creationism or of Genesis 1 to 11.

In US, fairly uniquely, there are states where teaching creation science along evolution is actually allowed.

And even there, there are states where it isn't, in public schools.

This is just one example of how Evolution is a religion. And also an example of how in these days U. S. of America is special in a good way.

On the list of people not speaking up against the hospital was "Catholic Mobilizing Network To End the Use of the Death Penalty".

I wondered. Mark Shea would belong to that, would he have been saying sth on his own?

Why not let them do so?

The hospital may not believe in the experimental treatment they were going to give him, but the parents want to give it a try.

So, medicine is about saving lives, not about stopping parents from saving lives elsewhere. The parents ask exactly one thing : to let them transport him to US.

I signed, of course.

(1) A comment about the condition was posted here:

Who's Not Speaking For Baby #CharlieGard ?

Citing:

Baby Charlie has a hopeless condition—mitochondrial depletion syndrome.

Makes me wonder what the proposed treatment is?

If baby Charlie was born in a 3rd world hospital where there weren't the resources or money for such treatments, such decisions would not be necessary. Baby Charlie would pass peacefully shortly after birth, maybe even beautifully in his mothers arms.

Makes one wonder about what medical progress is now leading to./HGL
